Job summary

ROCKWOOL UK is seeking a Process Engineer to drive process enhancements, resolve production challenges, and support skills development across operations in South Wales. You will report to the Process Manager and help ensure safety, efficiency, quality and cost targets are met in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

The role requires a degree in engineering or manufacturing, strong lean/CI experience, and solid data management and teamwork capabilities.

Qualifications

• Qualified to Degree level in engineering or manufacturing discipline.
• Experienced in the manufacturing industry.
• Previous experience of lean, CI & operational excellence.
• Strong analytical and data management skills.
• The capability to work within a team.

Responsibilities

• Promote safe working practices to support safety, environmental and sustainability targets.
• Lead capex project activities including functional specs, teams and commissioning.
• Lead detailed investigations into production and process issues with root-cause analysis.
• Plan and oversee trials for materials, products, processes following Management of Change procedures.
• Deliver cost improvements by analysing Variable Production Costs and budgeting input.
• Maintain precise process settings and update SOPs; train production teams.
• Contribute to shutdown planning and assist commissioning of new equipment to improve OEE.
