About The Role

Due to continued success and growth, we are currently looking for a Process Engineer to assist within our FVC Foundry. As a process engineer, you will primarily focus on the optimisation and management of our Horizontal Foundry processes. You will be responsible for ensuring that operations are safe, efficient, and cost-effective.

Responsibilities Will Include But Not Limited To
  • Developing and implementing safety protocols to protect workers, the environment, and the public.
  • Analyzing and improving processes to reduce costs and improve quality.
  • Evaluating existing processes and leading process improvement projects to develop best practices within production.
  • Testing, maintaining, and overseeing the commissioning of equipment.
  • Working closely with the Technical team and tracking progress of R&D trials.
  • Ensuring the factory complies with local and national regulations.
  • Training operators and other engineers.
  • Identifying and resolving inefficiencies or quality issues.

You will need to possess critical and logical thinking skills, problem-solving skills, and:

  • The ability to work calmly in emergency and high-pressure situations.
  • The ability to lead, manage, and persuade others to change work practices.
  • An in-depth understanding of process engineering software and systems.

Ideally, you will be educated to degree level or have a strong background within a foundry environment. Understanding of materials science and engineering, the ability to apply statistical methods in data analysis, good communication skills (both written and verbal), and a strong understanding of health & safety and quality standards are also required.
