Millbank is seeking a Process Engineer to support projects across the UK's nuclear landscape, including clean energy and decommissioning initiatives. You will solve complex engineering challenges and work within multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, compliant solutions.

The role emphasises collaboration with customers and suppliers, development of commissioning processes, and documenting technical findings for stakeholder reviews. Flexibility for site-based work in the UK is expected.

Formación

• Engineering degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
• Experience collaborating in multi-discipline teams across varied project types.
• Able to communicate effectively with other disciplines.

Responsabilidades

• Provide engineering support across clean energy, defence and civil decommissioning projects.
• Apply procedures, codes, and standards to technical activities; contribute to safety assessments.
• Collaborate with engineering and functional teams to enable design solutions.
• Interface with customers and suppliers to resolve design issues and define specifications.
• Develop, update, and manage commissioning processes.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations and maintain records of activities.

The Opportunity

An opportunity has become available for a Process Engineer to join one of our key clients in the nuclear sector, shaping the future of nuclear engineering. As Process Engineer you’ll play a key role in solving complex technical challenges, support clean energy innovation or drive forward nuclear decommissioning projects.

Your duties and responsibilities will be

• Engineering Support: Solve complex engineering challenges related to clean energy, defence, and civil decommissioning.
• Design & Specification: Apply procedures, codes, and standards to technical activities; contribute to product safety assessments.
• Collaboration: Promote effective cooperation across engineering and functional teams.
• Customer & Supplier Interface: Resolve design issues and support procurement specifications.
• Process Development: Create, update, and manage commissioning
• Documentation: Compile technical reports and presentations; maintain accurate records of engineering activities.

You will have the following qualifications & experience

• Engineering degree (or equivalent qualification) in a relevant engineering discipline, with demonstrable experience
• Experienced working collaboratively in multi-discipline teams across varied project types
• Able to demonstrate versatility across a range of engineering tasks
• Capable of communicating effectively and interfacing with other disciplines
