Job summary

A leading independent Oil & Gas company is seeking Process Engineers at all levels in Norwich. Our client, a leading independent Oil & Gas company with global operations, is hiring Process Engineers (all levels) in Norwich.

This opportunity is within the UK subsidiary, managing assets across the Southern North Sea. Known for technical excellence and operational reliability, our client is committed to driving performance, efficiency, and safety throughout their business.

Role Overview:

This role plays a vital part in delivering fit-for-purpose process engineering solutions across offshore assets, while ensuring alignment with company standards and HSE legislation.

You’ll work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team, contributing to design reviews, process optimisation, and the safe, efficient implementation of changes across the asset base.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in design safety reviews such as HAZOP, HAZID, and LOPA studies
  • Provide engineered solutions to process issues identified during safety and operational reviews
  • Ensure all engineering activities comply with HSE legislation, internal standards, and industry best practices
  • Support project delivery by drafting operating instructions, procedures, and work packs; assist with commissioning and multidisciplinary execution
  • Raise, manage, and close out Management of Change (MOC) proposals, providing technical assurance throughout
  • Assist offshore and onshore operations with day-to-day process safety concerns, including risk assessments, isolations, drawings, and procedural changes
  • Identify and deliver value-adding opportunities in production systems by initiating and executing process modifications
Required Qualifications & Experience:
  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Process or Chemical Engineering
  • Demonstrated understanding and application of Management of Change processes
  • Currently reside in or around the Norwich area or are open to relocation. Candidates must already reside in the UK.
