Job summary

M-Tec Engineering Solutions is seeking a motivated Process Engineer to join a global manufacturer in the Midlands. You will drive efficiency, improve manufacturing processes and deliver operational excellence for the plant.

In this role you will lead continuous improvement using Lean, TPM and 5S, develop FMEA's, process flows, control plans and work instructions, and support NPI from design to launch while championing quality and right-first-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
• Experience leading Continuous Improvement activities.
• Ability to support production issues and drive process improvements.
• Involvement in NP I projects from design to launch.

Responsibilities

• Lead Continuous Improvement activity within existing manufacturing processes using Lean, TPM and 5S.
• Implement FMEA's, Process Flows, Control Plans, Work Instructions, Gauge Instructions, PPAP submissions, Packing Instructions, and other process documents.
• Lead NPI projects from initial process design and layout through to full launch.
• Promote a quality-first philosophy and ensure right-first-time delivery.

We are looking for a motivated and proactive Process Engineer to join a global manufacturer located in the midlands.

The Process Engineer will help drive efficiency, improve manufacturing processes and deliver operational excellence for the plant.

The successful Process Engineer will be embarking on a career defined opportunity where you will be given the opportunity to further develop your skill set and career.

As Process Engineer you will be required to support manufacturing with any production issues and lead continuous improvement activities to optimise current processes.

Further responsibilities will include:

• Lead Continuous Improvement activity within existing manufacturing processes utilising Lean Manufacturing, TPM and 5's.
• Implement FMEA's, Process Flows, Control Plans, Work Instructions, Gauge Instructions, PPAP submissions, Packing Instructions, and other process documents.
• NPI projects from initially process design and layout stage, through to full launch
• Promoting quality first philosophy, ensuring quality standards are achieved in terms of right first time, and ensuring that non-conformance is challenged.

Ideally candidates will be HNC/HND qualified and have worked within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Further training and the chance to gain higher academic qualifications will also be provided.
