Department Overview

Reporting to the COO of Fitch Ratings, the Ratings Strategy and Analytics (RSA) team provides in-depth strategic analysis to drive better outcomes for Fitch Ratings. Using a data-driven approach, RSA works closely with Ratings Operations heads and other groups throughout Fitch Ratings to develop strategic analyses, evaluate costs/benefits for new initiatives, and produce recommendations toward process improvements and re‑engineering. These efforts support firm‑wide strategic objectives that will deliver significant business results such as improved operational efficiency, revenue growth and the development of new products.

Role Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver end-to-end process analysis support for squad‑led process and application changes, from initial discovery and impact assessment through to implementation and post‑implementation review.


• Lead current‑state process discovery and mapping to identify pain points, inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.


• Design future‑state processes in collaboration with process owners, subject matter experts, technology teams and other key stakeholders.
