Service Care seeks experienced Probation Officers to manage complex caseloads across the PDU in Peterborough. Agency cover supports substantive recruitment while permanent staff are absent. This is an opportunity to contribute to the justice system and work in a busy team.

Ideal candidates hold a Community Justice degree with MAPPA experience and Parole Report writing skills, plus proficiency with NDelius and OASys. Flexibility to adapt to changing duties is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate Diploma/Honours Degree in Community Justice or equivalent.
• Experience managing complex caseloads, including MAPPA.
• Experience writing Parole Reports.
• Proficient with NDelius and OASys probation systems.
• Knowledge of Sentencing Act and evidence-based practice.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsabilités

• Supervise a caseload of complex, high-risk cases.
• Prepare and write Parole Reports.
• Supervise MAPPA cases and attend panel meetings.
• Support OMiC implementation.
• Complete and maintain OASys assessments.
• Adapt to new tasks as required.
