Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to deliver high-quality, proactive occupational health services for clients across the North West (Preston). This permanent, site-based role will involve case management, health surveillance, health screening and health promotion to support safe, healthy workplaces.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, delivering fitness-for-work assessments, absence management and employee assistance programmes, with a six-case-per-day

Qualifications

• Registered General Nurse with current NMC registration.
• Post-registration qualification in Occupational Health (certificate, diploma or degree).
• Experience across occupational health service delivery, including case management, health surveillance, screening and health promotion.
• Strong organisational skills, self-motivation, and proficient IT capability including Microsoft Office.
• A current UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver case management, health surveillance, screening and health promotion for clients.
• Provide fitness-for-work assessments and manage absence while balancing client needs.
• Coordinate defined occupational health activities in line with legislation and professional standards.
• Build effective relationships with employees, managers and client representatives.
• Manage appointments, records, follow-up actions and prioritise competing tasks.
