Job summary

Streets LLP is seeking a trainee to support the Manager on the general personal tax function, focusing on self‑assessment tax return preparation for a range of clients. The role involves assisting with taxation paperwork and liaising with HMRC, while developing client service skills and technical knowledge.

You'll work with the tax team to deliver quality services, mentor fellow trainees, and have the opportunity to study toward ATT supported by Streets.

Qualifications

• Understanding of taxation principles to deliver effective client service.
• Ability to deliver self-assessment tax returns for varied income sources.
• Good client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver self-assessment tax return preparation for clients with diverse income sources.
• Support Manager and team to deliver quality taxation services.
• Assist with other taxation paperwork and liaise with HMRC when needed.
• Provide mentoring and guidance to trainees within the team.
• Handle ad hoc tax-related tasks as required.
• Opportunity to study for ATT with support from Streets.
