Key Responsibilities:

• Investigating housing complaints and poor housing conditions.
• Undertaking inspections under the \u003Cstrong\u003EHousing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS)\u003C/strong\u003E.
• Serving statutory notices and taking appropriate enforcement action.
• Carrying out duties under housing legislation, including Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMOs).
• Liaising with landlords, tenants, agents, and external stakeholders.
• Managing a varied caseload while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
• Previous experience working within a local authority Private Sector Housing team.
• Strong knowledge of:
• HHSRS
• Housing Act 2004
• HMO licensing and regulation
• Ability to manage cases independently.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred.
