Job summary

Charles Russell Speechlys is recruiting an NQ-3 PQE Associate for the Private Property team in our Cheltenham office. The role focuses on advising individuals, trustees, families and charities on property transactions, security and investments, with a view to developing a career in a supportive, collegiate environment.

We offer bespoke training through the Charles Russell Speechlys Business School and a hybrid approach to work to align with role requirements and client needs.

Qualifications

• England & Wales qualified solicitor (NQ-3 PQE)
• Generalist property lawyer with experience or interest in landed estates/agricultural/rural property
• Autonomous and team player with strong prioritisation and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication with diverse clients

Responsibilities

• Provide clear, practical legal advice to clients
• Manage a substantial workload with supervision appropriate to level of expertise
• Draft accurately using precedents and commercial reasoning
• Support Partners in client marketing and business development to grow the department
• Contribute to divisional knowledge, know-how and regulatory compliance
