Chadwick Nott is recruiting an Associate (NQ-3 PQE) into its Private Client division, focusing on Private Property, in Cheltenham. This is a permanent, full-time role offering exposure to high-value property work for HNW clients and strong supervision.

The role involves advising on property transactions, drafting and research with a commercial approach, and contributing to business development and knowledge sharing within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• NQ-3 PQE
• Experience as a generalist property lawyer within a Private Client context
• Interest in landed estates, agricultural or rural property work (desirable)
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Flexible, proactive approach and willingness to go the extra mile

Responsibilities

• Providing clear, succinct and practical legal advice
• Managing a substantial and varied workload with appropriate supervision
• Drafting accurately and logically, using precedents where appropriate
• Applying a commercial approach to research and advice
• Supporting partners with client marketing and business development activity
• Contributing to divisional knowledge and know how initiatives
• Ensuring compliance with all SRA regulatory obligations
