Job summary

The Private Markets team at S&P Global in London seeks an analyst to perform valuations on illiquid investments across industries and geographies. You will present analyses, respond to client queries, and help design advanced financial models.

You'll build and maintain client relationships with management and attend industry events to deepen knowledge of the alternative asset space, with opportunities to grow within a fast-growing, globally connected team.

Qualifications

• Construct and review valuation models for illiquid investments across industries and geographies.
• Present analyses and conclusions in written reports and respond to client valuation queries.
• Contribute to the design and enhancement of financial models used for valuations.
• Build and maintain client relationships with management.
• Attend relevant industry events to broaden knowledge of the alternative asset industry.

Responsibilities

• Perform valuations on a wide range of illiquid investments across industries and geographies while using accepted and relevant approaches and theory
• Present analyses and conclusions including written reports, and handling valuation queries from clients
• Contributing to the design and enhancement of the financial models used to perform valuations
• Working with management to build and maintain client relationships
• Attending relevant industry events to broaden your knowledge and experience within the alternative asset industry
