London CIV, launched in 2015, is a dedicated LGPS investment pool for London's local authorities. Managing approximately £52bn AUM, it invests for 32 boroughs and the City of London, focusing on efficiency, cost reduction, and value enhancement through collective strategies.
The organization aligns with the Government’s LGPS ‘Fit for Future’ standards and is expanding capabilities as more assets are pooled. It is committed to sustainable development across LGPS schemes in England and Wales.
Role: Private Markets Portfolio Manager
Reporting to the Head of Private Markets, the Portfolio Manager will oversee private market funds across asset classes such as private credit, private equity, infrastructure, natural capital, and real estate. The role involves managing around £3.4bn in commitments, with potential for career growth as AUM increases.
The ideal candidate will have experience in private markets, including private equity, credit, or infrastructure investments, with knowledge of asset allocation, portfolio construction, fund valuation, performance reporting, and risk management. Hands-on research and due diligence skills are essential, along with the ability to incorporate responsible investment strategies.
