C&C Search is recruiting a highly commercial and operationally focused Paralegal to join a fast-scaling private-markets fund manager in London. This is an outstanding opportunity for a Paralegal with private equity, investment funds or asset management experience to support the business at a pivotal point in its development.

The successful Paralegal will work directly with senior decision-makers, shaping fund and legal operations as the firm scales, with a flexible London-based role offering

C&C Search is currently recruiting a highly commercial and operationally focused Paralegal to join a fast-scaling private-markets fund manager in London.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a Paralegal with private equity, investment funds, asset management or wider private-markets experience to join the business at a pivotal point in its development. Having successfully launched its first fund, the firm is now preparing for the launch of a significantly larger second fund, targeting approximately £150 million to £250 million.

The successful Paralegal will work directly with senior decision-makers and play a visible role in supporting the legal, fund and operational requirements of the business. The level of experience is genuinely flexible. The priority is finding someone with the right attitude, commercial judgement, ownership mentality and understanding of private markets.

Key responsibilities for this Paralegal position

• Supporting the legal and operational requirements associated with the launch and development of the firm’s second investment fund
• Assisting with investment-fund documentation, corporate matters, transactions and wider private-equity activities
• Coordinating documentation, approvals, records, reporting requirements and key project deadlines
• Working closely with senior stakeholders on legal, commercial and operational priorities
• Supporting the management of external legal counsel and other professional advisers
• Maintaining organised and accurate legal, corporate and fund-management records
• Identifying priorities, taking ownership of tasks and driving work forward independently
• Contributing to the development of efficient legal and operational processes as the firm scales
• Providing broader business and project support where required within a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment

What background and experience are the company looking for?

• Previous experience as a Paralegal within private equity, private markets, investment funds, fund management, venture capital or asset management

• Relevant experience gained within a law firm, investment business or in-house legal team
