Job summary

Government of Jersey is seeking a reliable Housekeeper to support a private household in St Martin, Jersey. The role includes cleaning, laundry, ironing, wardrobe care and meal preparation, with a strong emphasis on discretion and privacy.

The successful candidate should have excellent English, be able to work independently, and be comfortable around dogs and a cat. Approximately 20 hours per week with flexible pattern.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping in a private home.
• Ability to manage laundry, ironing and wardrobe care.
• Excellent spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standard of cleanliness and order in the home.
• Carry out general housekeeping, laundry, ironing and wardrobe care.
• Plan and prepare meals and adapt to household preferences.
• Organise household routines and support day‑to‑day running with discretion.
