Government of Jersey is seeking a reliable Housekeeper to support a private household in St Martin, Jersey. The role includes cleaning, laundry, ironing, wardrobe care and meal preparation, with a strong emphasis on discretion and privacy.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced, reliable and highly discreet Housekeeper to support the smooth day-to-day running of a private household in St Martin, Jersey.

Duties will include maintaining the home to a high standard, general housekeeping and cleaning, laundry, ironing and wardrobe care, household organisation, and preparing and cooking meals.

The successful candidate will be organised, conscientious and able to work independently, with excellent attention to detail. A high level of discretion, confidentiality and respect for the privacy of the household is essential.

Applicants should be comfortable working in a home with dogs and a cat. A good standard of spoken and written English is required.

Approximately 20 hours per week, with flexibility around the working pattern.
