Job summary

Simmons & Simmons’ Private Funds practice is seeking an ambitious associate (1-3 PQE) to join the FS Funds team. You will advise asset managers, fund sponsors and investors on establishment, structuring, and ongoing regulation of private investment funds, drafting fund documents and supporting fundraising processes.

You will work within a full-service firm, collaborating across tax, regulatory and corporate specialists, and you’ll be encouraged to engage in marketing and business development

Qualifications

• Excellent academics.
• Applicants will ideally have 1-3 PQE at international or leading regional firms.
• Strong private funds experience including establishment, structuring and operation of funds.
• Commercially focused with ability to engage in marketing and business development.
• Flexible and able to work in a diverse, inclusive team.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate fund documentation and investor communications.
• Support fundraising processes and ongoing fund matters.
• Advise asset managers, fund sponsors and investors on establishment and ongoing regulation of private funds.
• Collaborate with tax, regulatory and corporate teams to deliver integrated solutions.
