Job summary

Simmons & Simmons in London is seeking an ambitious associate (1-4 PQE) for our expanding Hedge Funds team. You will advise hedge fund managers and investors on establishment, structuring, operation and ongoing regulation of open-ended funds.

The role involves drafting offering documents, investment management agreements, subscription documents and investor communications, plus leading fund launches and restructurings.

Qualifications

• Excellent academics.
• 1-4 PQE, gained at international or offshore firm.
• Strong funds experience incl. establishment, structuring and operation of open-ended investment funds.
• Strong client focus with ability to market and develop business.

Responsibilities

• Drafting and negotiating offering documents, investment management agreements and subscription documents.
• Preparing investor side letters and communications; leading fund launches and restructurings.
• Collaborating with tax, regulatory and corporate specialists to service hedge fund clients.
