Job summary

Eventus Legal are seeking a Private Family Solicitor with 2+ years PQE to join a leading law firm in Derby, Derbyshire. This is a full-time, permanent role offering a salary of £45,000 to £50,000, hybrid working with up to two days a week working remotely from home.

The successful Private Family Solicitor will manage a varied caseload of high-quality private family matters, including work for high-net-worth clients, with dedicated paralegal and legal secretarial support.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 2+ years PQE.
• Experience managing a private family caseload independently.
• Experience in divorce and private children matters.
• Ability to handle high-net-worth matters.
• Strong communication and organisation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage an independent caseload of privately funded family matters from instruction through to conclusion, including divorce, matrimonial finance, private children, and related agreements.
• Advise and represent clients in divorce, separation, and relationship breakdown matters.
• Draft applications, statements, and consent orders; prepare cases for hearings and court proceedings.
