Job summary

Capital Tax Recruitment is seeking a qualified tax professional to join a high-performing Management Tax & Transactions team in London, Manchester, Glasgow or Edinburgh. The role focuses on tax structuring for management incentive plans and guidance through transactions, with exposure to private equity-backed businesses and senior client relationships.

You will advise on share plans, incentives and employee ownership, manage complex projects and contribute to business development while mentoring

Qualifications

• The business is keen to hear from qualified tax professionals with strong technical capability and a genuine interest in transaction-driven advisory work.
• Experience of management incentives, private equity, employment tax, private client or corporate tax would be advantageous, although candidates from adjacent tax disciplines with strong advisory experience are encouraged to apply.
• ACA, CTA, tax specialist, legal or equivalent professional qualification.
• Strong tax technical and advisory skills.
• Excellent client relationship and communication abilities.
• Commercial awareness and a pragmatic approach to solving complex problems.
• A proven ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Experience supervising, coaching or mentoring junior professionals.
• The confidence to work with senior stakeholders and provide commercially relevant advice.

Responsibilities

• Advising on tax structuring of management incentive arrangements.
• Supporting transactions from initial structuring through to implementation and post-deal advisory.
• Advising founders, entrepreneurs and shareholders on transactions and reorganisations.
• Providing advice on share plans, incentive arrangements and employee ownership structures.
• Managing technically complex projects and delivering practical, commercially focused advice.
• Developing and maintaining strong client and intermediary relationships.
• Identifying and converting new business opportunities.
• Supporting and developing junior members of the team.
