Job summary

SJC Partners, a prestigious European private equity firm, seeks an Investment Associate for its London office to contribute across the full investment lifecycle from origination to execution and value creation.

You will work with a high-caliber team on deal sourcing, financial modelling, due diligence and portfolio support, communicating with senior stakeholders and co-investors across Europe. Fluency in English is essential and additional languages are a plus.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year in private equity at a lower mid-market or mid-market fund with deal experience.
Previous Investment Banking or M&A advisory experience.
Advanced financial modelling and valuation skills, including LBO modelling.
Strong understanding of the full investment lifecycle from origination to portfolio management and value creation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities

Deal sourcing & evaluation to identify and screen opportunities; develop investment theses.
Build and maintain sophisticated financial models; perform valuation analyses (LBO, DCF, comps).
Lead due diligence workstreams; coordinate external advisors; support negotiations to closure.
Portfolio company support to monitor performance and drive value creation.
Prepare board papers and investment updates for senior stakeholders and co-investors.
