Job summary

Meraki Talent is seeking an experienced Consultant with private equity exposure to lead multiple projects and guide teams across the delivery lifecycle. You will work with client stakeholders, define requirements, and manage budgets and timelines to deliver high-quality outputs.

The role emphasizes leadership development, SME knowledge in ESG, CFA/CAIA, and building lasting relationships with senior clients while mentoring analysts and interns. London-based, with a focus on growth and impact.

Qualifications

• Experience in consulting for private equity or professional services.
• Strong stakeholder and client-management skills.
• Proven track record delivering projects on time and within budgets.
• Knowledge of private equity middle office and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple projects and workstreams concurrently, ensuring delivery aligns with milestones, scope, and budgets.
• Act as the escalation point for project issues, ensuring prioritisation and raising risks to the Project Director.
• Analyse and document client business requirements and functional specs.
• Engage with stakeholders, operations teams, and IT to understand processes and supporting systems.
• Lead both internal and client meetings across the full delivery lifecycle (scoping, design, testing, training, implementation).
• Delegate tasks across analysts and resources supporting your project.
• Own project planning and deliverables—define requirements, manage change, ensure alignment with the Project Director.
• Identify issues, mitigate risks, manage resources, and keep projects on time and budget.
• Prepare materials for status meetings and steerCo; deliver updates independently with the Project Director.
• Act as a key project contact—communicate changes to scope, resourcing, timelines, budgets, or deliverables.
• Identify opportunities for account expansion through onsite observations and relationship-building.
• Provide mentorship to interns and analysts, sharing SME expertise.
• Develop leadership responsibilities, including managing individuals on projects with constructive feedback.
• Own and manage internal projects with Senior/Managing Consultant oversight and regular progress updates.
