Job summary

Job Description:

The Company;

We are a Private Domiciliary Care company working with the discerning client in their own home.

Our speciality is complex care, movement disorders i.e. Parkinson's disease, end of life and other conditions where skills in care are paramount.

The role:

Carers report to the Nurse Manager & Senior Care Co-ordinator. Training is organised in-house and induction with named clients.

Additional training and career development is encouraged and supported by the Nurse Manager.

We expect monthly reports on your allocated clients. The Nurse Manager and or Care Co-ordinator visit clients on a regular basis.

  • 12 hour shifts,
  • we are a 24/7 service.
  • Uniforms provided.
  • Good rates of pay & travel allowance.

Qualifications:

Previous experience essential with a broad knowledge of care needs and the ability to recognise changes in condition.

Understanding of the workings of external support services and GP practices & emergency services.

Good clear spoken English essential when dealing with elderly & infirm clients.
