Job Description

We are seeking a talented newly qualified team member to join our Private Tax team in London, responsible for delivering annual tax compliance and planning work for a wide-ranging portfolio of Trust clients.

As an Assistant Manager, you will be part of the delivery team handling client compliance, planning work, routine checks, and practice development. This is a great opportunity for a newly qualified tax professional to develop their career in a growing, supportive team.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality service to Trust clients
  • Manage portfolio administration, including compliance, accounts, tax returns, and computations
  • Identify planning opportunities
  • Prepare reports for clients
  • Respond to client inquiries regarding trust tax affairs
Qualifications

To be successful, you should:

  • Manage workload effectively to meet deadlines
  • Have strong written communication skills to explain technical issues clearly
  • Possess good interpersonal skills for liaising with clients and staff
  • Meet deadlines and respond promptly to client needs
  • Support staff and assist Directors as needed
Education and Qualifications
  • ACA/CTA/STEP or equivalent (preferred)
Experience and Skills
  • Experience in a professional services firm
  • Good knowledge of personal tax compliance, with some exposure to planning/advisory work
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
