Autograph Recruitment Ltd, on behalf of a well-established accountancy and business advisory practice in Cheltenham, is seeking a Semi Senior Tax specialist for Private Client work. The role offers exposure to personal tax compliance for individuals and trusts, with support for professional qualifications.

You will assist with Self Assessment, liaise with HMRC, and work alongside senior colleagues to meet deadlines while developing technical knowledge in a collaborative, career‑driven

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months UK personal tax experience, ideally in an accountancy practice.
• Good understanding of personal tax compliance.
• Willingness to study towards relevant professional qualifications.
• Self-motivated with a proactive, can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with a portfolio of personal tax clients and preparing Self Assessment tax returns.
• Supporting tax compliance work for individuals and trusts.
• Liaising with HMRC on relevant tax matters.
• Working closely with senior colleagues to meet deadlines and client requirements.
• Keeping up to date with UK tax legislation and developing technical knowledge.
• Managing workload effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborating with colleagues across the wider tax team.
