Clark Wood in Stockport is seeking a Personal Tax Semi Senior to support a growing Private Client Tax team. You will prepare Self Assessment returns for a varied client portfolio and help with tax planning and administration. The role offers study support and a clear path to progression.

Qualifications

• Experience within Personal Tax in a UK accountancy practice is essential.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills required.
• Excellent communication and ability to build client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit Self Assessment tax returns for a varied private client portfolio.
• Assist with management of private client portfolios and meet deadlines.
• Calculate Capital Gains Tax and support tax planning assignments.
• Assist with Inheritance Tax matters and estate administration when required.
• Liaise with HMRC regarding client queries and tax issues.
• Support senior tax team on advisory projects and client relations.
