Job summary

ACCA Careers in Birmingham is recruiting a Private Client Tax Senior Manager to lead complex advisory assignments and oversee a portfolio of high-value private clients.

You will work closely with the Private Client Tax Partner, develop client relationships, identify opportunities to expand services, and mentor team members while delivering high-quality advisory work and compliant tax reporting.

Qualifications

• CTA/ACA/ACCA qualification or equivalent experience.
• Significant Private Client Tax experience in accountancy or tax advisory.
• Strong technical knowledge across personal tax matters.
• Experience leading complex advisory assignments and reviewing reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex Private Client Tax advisory projects from planning through delivery.
• Prepare and review technical reports on inheritance tax, capital gains tax, trusts, estates, residency and succession planning.
• Manage a portfolio of high-value private clients with advisory focus.
• Provide commercially focused recommendations to clients and advisers.
• Oversee timely delivery of personal tax compliance work.
• Act as a senior technical resource for colleagues and mentor junior staff.
• Collaborate with the Private Client Tax Partner on strategic client matters.
• Identify opportunities to expand relationships and introduce additional services.
• Support development and commercial growth of the Private Client offering.
