Job summary

Clark Wood Limited is recruiting a Personal Tax Semi Senior in Sheffield to join a well-established accountancy firm's tax team. You will be responsible for preparing and processing personal tax returns, handling partnerships and capital gains, and supporting senior staff with tax compliance across a varied client portfolio.

You will liaise with HMRC and third parties, build strong client relationships, and work towards ATT/CTA qualifications.

Qualifications

Previous personal tax experience within a practice setting.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Keen to develop professionally and work towards relevant tax qualifications such as ATT and CTA.

Responsibilities

Preparing and processing personal tax returns for a varied portfolio of clients.
Preparing partnership tax returns and capital gains tax returns.
Gathering relevant financial information from clients and dealing with routine queries.
Building strong and lasting professional relationships with clients.
Liaising with HMRC and third parties, including banks and letting agents.
Supporting senior members of the team with tax compliance work.
Assisting with ad-hoc advisory assignments and client projects.
