Job summary

Pro Tax, in Southern Hertfordshire, is partnering with a growing accountancy practice to recruit a Private Client Tax Manager or Senior Manager. The role offers hybrid working 3 days in the office and 2 days from home, with exposure to high-net-worth individuals, family offices, trusts and FICs.

You will manage a portfolio, work with partners on compliance and advisory projects, and have clear progression opportunities within a supportive, family-oriented culture.

Qualifications

• CTA qualified with 2+ years' private client tax experience.
• Experience with estates, trusts and family offices beneficial.
• Strong client relationship and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing private client tax compliance for a diverse portfolio.
• Reviewing self-assessment tax returns and deadlines.
• Advising on Income Tax, CGT and Inheritance Tax matters.
• Supporting advisory projects including estate planning and trusts.
• Liaising with HMRC on enquiries and disclosures.
• Attending client meetings and identifying planning opportunities.
• Managing budgets, billing and client relationships.
• Supporting and developing junior team members.
