Job summary

Insite Public Practice Recruitment Limited is seeking a Private Client Tax Manager in St Albans with hybrid working. You will advise high-net-worth individuals, trusts and estates on a range of tax matters, including compliance, planning and succession.

The role offers strong client contact, varied advisory work and clear progression opportunities, with direct access to partners and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Strong private client tax experience.
• ATT or CTA qualification or equivalent experience.
• Experience managing your own client portfolio and reviewing tax returns.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of private clients, trusts and estates.
• Review personal, trust and estate tax returns.
• Advise on IHT, CGT, succession and estate planning.
• Support executors, trustees and professional advisers.
• Deal with HMRC enquiries, clearances and correspondence.
• Attend client meetings and provide practical advice.
• Manage deadlines, budgets and billing.
• Review work and support junior team members.
• Contribute to business development and team growth.
• Keep up to date with tax legislation and HMRC guidance.
