Job summary

TPF Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Personal Tax Manager for a private client team in South East London. The role focuses on personal tax, trusts and estates, with IHT planning and strong client relationships.

The role offers hybrid working with a minimum three days in the office, plus ongoing professional development and a collaborative culture. You will mentor junior staff and work closely with partners on complex tax projects.

Qualifications

CTA or equivalent tax qualification.
Strong experience in personal tax, trusts and estates.
Knowledge of Inheritance Tax (IHT), Trust Tax and Estate Tax.
Experience managing a client portfolio in an accountancy practice.

Responsibilities

Managing a portfolio of private tax clients, including high net worth individuals.
Overseeing trust tax compliance and advisory matters.
Advising on Inheritance Tax (IHT) issues relating to individuals and trusts.
Assisting with estate administration, probate and estate tax work.
Reviewing tax returns and ensuring deadlines are met.
Supporting clients with tax planning opportunities.
Mentoring and reviewing the work of junior staff.
Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
Collaborating with partners and senior management on complex tax projects.
