Job summary

Howells Consulting Ltd in the Gatwick region seeks a CTA-qualified Personal Tax Manager to lead capital taxes planning and complex personal tax compliance for a high net worth portfolio, including business owners, wealthy families, and landed clients.

You will supervise junior team members, oversee compliance, and play a key client-facing role within a supportive, sociable firm that encourages progression toward senior manager grade. Hybrid working with some homeworking two days a week.

Qualifications

• CTA qualified personal tax experience with focus on capital taxes planning.
• Experience supervising junior team members and overseeing compliance work.
• Experience handling high net worth clients including business owners, wealthy families, landed clients and trusts.
• Willingness to be based near Gatwick with some homeworking two days a week.

Responsibilities

• Supervise junior members of the Private Client Tax team.
• Provide high-quality personal tax compliance review for a diverse client base.
• Lead client-facing discussions and build strong relationships with HNWI clients.
