Job summary

Howells Consulting Ltd. in London invites applications for a CTA-qualified Personal Tax Manager or Assistant Manager to take a strategic role within a premier Private Client Tax team.

You will handle a broad range of personal tax planning and compliance work, advise on IHT, CGT, trusts, APR/BPR and succession planning, and manage client relationships with third‑party advisers. Hybrid 2-3 days in central London, salary up to £75k plus bonus and benefits.

• Liaising directly with clients and third‑party advisers.
• Hybrid working 2-3 days a week in central London.

Responsibilities

• Undertake personal tax planning and compliance work including IHT, CGT, trusts and succession planning.
• Act as key client relationship manager, liaising with clients and advisers.
• Support career progression toward Senior Manager and Director grades.
• Collaborate with CTAs and Partners to deliver client service.
