Job summary

Curtis Recruitment Limited is seeking a Private Client Tax Manager for its Birmingham office. The ideal candidate will be ACA or ACCA qualified, with CTA welcome, and substantial personal tax experience within a UK practice.

The role involves managing a diverse client portfolio including HNWI’s and executives, delivering complex tax advisory work, and leading a small tax team. The firm offers a competitive salary in line with experience, regular reviews, private medical cover, a medical cash

Qualifications

Qualified ACA or ACCA accountant and/or CTA tax adviser.
Significant personal tax experience gained within a UK accountancy practice.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Live within commuting distance.
Be prepared to work outside normal hours as required.
Experience managing a portfolio and advising clients on tax matters.

Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of personal tax clients and deliver robust tax advisory outcomes.
Provide mentorship and develop the tax team.
Drive process efficiency and ensure WIP and billing controls.
Identify advisory opportunities within existing and new clients.
Collaborate with other teams on firm initiatives.
