Job summary

Howells Consulting Ltd in Taunton is seeking a CTA-qualified Manager to lead a Private Client Tax portfolio for a high net worth client base.

You will oversee annual compliance, identify ad hoc planning opportunities and undertake capital taxes advisory projects, working closely with partners to develop client relationships. The role offers homeworking two days a week, flexible hours, and a clear path to Senior Manager.

Qualifications

• CTA qualification and current role as Manager or Assistant Manager in a Private Client Tax team.
• Experience advising HNWIs on income tax, CGT, IHT and succession planning.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee annual compliance for a broad portfolio of HNWIs.
• Identify and advise on ad hoc personal tax planning opportunities.
• Undertake capital taxes advisory projects and support networking/marketing initiatives.
• Serve as a key point of contact and maintain strong client relationships with senior managers and partners.
