You will manage a private client portfolio, oversee personal tax returns, provide inheritance and capital gains guidance, and mentor tax professionals while building strong client relationships in a collaborative Professional Services

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of UK tax laws, particularly in personal and private client taxation.
• Experience managing a client portfolio within the Professional Services industry.
• Proven leadership and mentoring track record.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional qualification in accounting or tax (CTA/ACA/ACCA).
• Proactive, independent problem-solver.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of private clients, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and providing strategic advice.
• Oversee the preparation and submission of personal tax returns, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Provide guidance on inheritance tax, capital gains tax, and other complex tax matters.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and tailor solutions to their needs.
• Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, fostering growth and development.
• Identify opportunities to enhance client services and improve internal processes.
• Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and inform clients of implications.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide seamless service.
