Job summary

Michael Page Exeter is seeking a Personal Tax Manager to lead a busy private client team. You will manage a portfolio of UK and international tax affairs for HNWI, oversee compliance, and actively deliver complex tax work.

The role combines hands-on tax delivery with leadership, development of staff, and involvement in tax planning strategies, residency and remittance matters, with hybrid working and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• CTA qualified or studying and/or ATT, ACA, ACCA qualifications in tax.
• Experience in personal tax within an accountancy practice or tax firm.
• Experience with high net worth individuals and international tax matters.

Responsibilities

• Manage a wide portfolio of personal tax cases for UK-based and overseas clients.
• Lead delivery on complex cases and ensure quality compliance.
• Deliver tax planning projects and advise on residence and remittance basis for UK expats.
• Collaborate with heads of taxes on IHT and CGT projects.
