Job summary

AAB in Newry is seeking a Private Client Tax Advisory Manager/Senior Manager to lead complex advisory work, manage client projects, and develop the private client tax practice. You will play a pivotal role in nurturing client relationships, supervising a team, and delivering high-level tax guidance across inheritance, trusts, estates, and shareholder transactions.

Qualifications

• Professional tax qualifications and extensive advisory experience in private client tax matters.
• Experience handling multiple projects simultaneously with ability to prioritise and deliver.
• Strong knowledge of Irish Capital Taxes and interaction with UK taxes is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and lead client projects, effectively project managing challenging technical advice.
• Build and manage client relationships.
• Deliver strategic private client tax advisory services.
• Support leadership in setting and delivering department objectives.
• Identify opportunities to promote the business and secure new work with BD team support.
• Act as a go-to technical expert in private client tax areas and present to clients internally and externally.
• Review and sign off complex Self Assessment Tax Returns.
