Lusona Consultancy is working with a highly regarded specialist practice in Glasgow to appoint a Private Client Tax Lead at Senior Manager or Director level. This senior role combines Private Client Tax compliance and advisory, with responsibility for an established portfolio of approximately 400 private clients.

Qualifications

• Experience across both compliance and advisory work.
• Oversee and review a substantial client portfolio.
• Strong client relationship and communication skills.
• Experience of complex Private Client Tax advisory work.
• A relevant professional qualification such as CTA, ATT, CA or ACCA.

Responsibilities

• Take senior responsibility for an established Private Client Tax portfolio.
• Oversee and review personal tax compliance.
• Provide proactive advice to individuals, business owners and other high-value clients.
• Lead and support more complex Private Client Tax advisory assignments.
• Advise on residence and international tax, IHT, succession and wider personal tax planning.
• Provide personal tax advice connected to corporate transactions, including demergers and MBOs.
• Manage key client relationships, including work for a professional services firm
• Work closely with the Partners and wider tax team.
• Support and develop more junior colleagues.
