Kreston Reeves in Chichester is seeking a Private Client Tax Assistant Manager to lead a varied portfolio of personal tax work and advisory projects. You will mentor junior colleagues and provide day-to-day technical guidance while building strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• CTA and/or ATT qualification or equivalent experience.
• Strong private client tax compliance knowledge with advisory experience.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong client relationships.
• Proactive, organised and detail-oriented, with good commercial awareness.
• Experience reviewing work and supporting junior team members.
• Desirable: experience or interest in the agricultural sector.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied portfolio of private clients, acting as their primary point of contact.
• Deliver personal tax compliance and contribute to advisory work.
• Ensure all client work is completed in line with budgets and internal standards.
• Develop and maintain up-to-date technical knowledge through training and monitoring changes.
• Liaise with internal teams and build your internal profile across service lines.
• Attend client meetings and play a key role in relationship and workflow management.
• Monitor WIP and manage client billing effectively.
• Support one-off compliance and advisory assignments as needed.
• Supervise junior members of the team involved in private client tax work.
