Job summary

Larking Gowen is seeking a highly motivated Private Client Tax Manager to lead our Private Client Tax team in Norwich. The role focuses on strategic leadership, ensuring delivery of first-class tax services to our clients and driving growth.

You will oversee tax advisory, compliance, and planning projects, maintain strong client relationships, and stay abreast of regulatory changes. A proactive, business-minded approach and experience in client presentations will be valued.

Qualifications

• Must have strong technical tax knowledge across private client matters.
• Proven ability to manage and develop a tax team.
• Experience in business development and client presentations desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax advisory services to clients, including managing compliance and planning projects.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, ensuring their tax needs are met.
• Manage a tax team, driving growth and ensuring high-quality delivery.
• Monitor compliance with tax legislation and regulations.
• Stay informed on tax changes and advise clients accordingly.
• Participate in business development activities, including proposals and presentations.
• Review and sign-off on high-risk tax returns and related documents.
