Job summary

Pro-Tax in Reading is seeking an ambitious Private Client Tax Director to join a stable, independent firm. You will have genuine autonomy to build your own client portfolio, win new work and shape the future of the practice.

You will advise a diverse portfolio of HNW and UHNW individuals and families, covering IHT, CGT, income tax, trusts and estate planning, and you will coach junior colleagues while working with Partners on the strategic direction of the Private Client team.

Private Client Tax Director - Reading

We're looking for an ambitious Private Client Tax Director to join a stable, independently owned and non-private equity-backed firm. With a long-term approach to growth, you'll have the freedom and support to build relationships, win new work and develop your career without the short-term pressures often associated with PE-backed businesses. You'll advise a diverse portfolio of HNW and UHNW individuals, families, entrepreneurs and business owners, providing high-quality, traditional private client tax advice across IHT, CGT, income tax, trusts, succession and estate planning. Alongside your technical work, you'll have significant scope to develop your own network, grow existing relationships and win new clients. A key part of the role will be helping to grow and shape the Private Client team, coaching and developing more junior members and working closely with the Partners on the strategic direction of the practice.
