Job summary

AAB, based in Leeds, is seeking a Private Client Tax Advisory – Assistant Manager to join our growing team. You will work with UHNW/HNW clients, partners, and senior colleagues to deliver complex tax advisory services across the firm's UK and international client base.

You will lead by example, develop client relationships, and support junior colleagues while contributing to business development and practice growth.

Qualifications

• Professional tax qualification or qualified by experience.
• At least 1 year post-qualification experience in a tax advisory role.
• Ability to undertake independent technical research.
• Good knowledge of Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of advisory services to private clients.
• Assist with inheritance tax planning, trusts, and residence/international tax advice.
• Monitor WIP and assist with proposals and fee uplifts.
• Develop advisory opportunities with existing and new clients.
• Participate in client meetings and present technical advice.
• Train and mentor junior team members.
• Engage in business development and networking.
• Refer clients to other AAB services when appropriate.
