Job summary

LJ Recruitment is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join a family-run law firm in Leigh-on-Sea. You will handle Wills, Probate, LPAs and Court of Protection, advising clients with empathy and precision.

You'll work in a modern Leigh-on-Sea office, building long-term relationships with clients while delivering high-quality tailored advice and maintaining the firm’s excellent reputation for service.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with Private Client experience.
• At least two years' post-qualification experience in Private Client law.
• Strong client-care and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own Private Client caseload from instruction to completion.
• Advise on Wills and estate planning.
• Handle Probate and Estate Administration matters.
• Prepare and advise on Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs).
• Manage Court of Protection cases.
• Meet clients in person and remotely.
• Draft documents accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain excellent file management and record keeping.
