Private Client Senior Solicitor - Glasgow - Scottish Firm

Oculus Legal Group has been retained by our client, a highly regarded Scottish firm, to assist with the expansion of their Private Client team in Glasgow as part of a new strategic direction. The role offers a hybrid working pattern.

Appointment Summary

This opportunity is suitable for a Private Client professional aiming to advance their career within a friendly and supportive team. Key responsibilities include:

• Advising clients on private matters such as Wills, Executries, Trusts, and Tax Planning.
• Handling complex estate planning cases and providing bespoke advice to high-net-worth individuals.
• Collaborating with other departments to grow the private client services through business development and cross-referrals.
• Mentoring junior team members and contributing to the development of the private client practice.

Required Background(s)

• Ideally 3+ years PQE in private client matters, including executries, wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and guardianships. Candidates with 1+ years PQE and at least 6 months private client experience during traineeship are also considered.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-focused approach and attention to detail.
• Qualified Solicitor in Scotland.
