Job summary

Jago Consultants are assisting a modern law practice in Bedford to appoint a Private Client Solicitor or CILEX. The role requires 2–4 years’ post-qualification experience in private client work, with skilled drafting of Wills, LPAs and straightforward estate administration, under minimal supervision.

Candidates who have exposure to trusts, tax, high-net-worth work or Court of Protection will have an advantage.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years’ post-qualification experience in Private Client work (Solicitor or CILEX).
• Experience drafting Wills, LPAs and administering straightforward estates.
• Experience with trusts, tax, HNW or Court of Protection is advantageous.
• STEP exposure is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Be qualified with 2–4 years’ post-qualification experience in Private Client work (Solicitor or CILEX).
• Draft and deal with Wills, LPAs and administration of straightforward estates with minimal supervision.
• Build relationships to develop the Private Client Department.
• Manage deadlines, work independently and as part of a team.
• IT skills, preferably with case management systems.
