Job summary

A well-established law firm is seeking a Private Client Solicitor to join its experienced and supportive Private Client team. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified or junior solicitor to develop their career while handling a broad range of private client matters.

The role involves managing a caseload with supervision, providing clear legal advice, and delivering a high standard of client service in a busy private client practice.

Qualifications

• Experience in wills, probate, estate administration, trusts or powers of attorney would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Managing an appropriate caseload of private client matters with supervision and support.
• Advising clients on wills, estate planning, probate, estate administration and lasting powers of attorney.
• Drafting legal documents, correspondence and attendance notes accurately and effectively.
• Building strong client relationships and providing a professional, empathetic and efficient service.
• Maintaining accurate files and records in accordance with regulatory and internal requirements.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues across the department and wider firm.
• Supporting marketing and business development activities where appropriate.
• Developing external relationships and identifying opportunities for new work.
