Job description

Private Client Solicitor/Legal Executive

The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Solicitor or Legal Executive to join our Private Client Team at our Coventry office.

This is a full-time office-based role with the option to work one day per week at home after completing a probationary period.

Would be suitable for someone with at least three years’ experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Must have a good knowledge of the following areas:

  • Drafting Wills, including trust Wills;
  • Preparation of LPAs;
  • Deeds of Variation;
  • Probate and estate administration, including IHT400 Account and taxable estates;
  • Financial management of client’s affairs for whom Members of the firm act as Attorney/Deputy;
  • Court of Protection applications.

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team;
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy;
  • Work calmly and accurately under pressure;
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines;
  • Self-managed, organised and a high level of initiative;

  • Willingness to learn and develop within the role;
  • Full secretarial support provided.
