Job summary

Simpson Judge is seeking a qualified Solicitor to join its busy Wills & Probate team in Bolton. You will own your caseload, advise on Wills and LPAs, and handle Probate with compassionate client service.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years PQE, STEP preferred, and the ability to supervise a team while developing their own client following. UK driving licence is a plus for occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor or CILEX with 3+ years’ PQE.
• Expert in Wills, LPAs and Probate.
• Knowledge of Mental Capacity Act is required.
• STEP qualification desirable or be working towards it.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload with accurate records.
• Advise on and prepare Wills and LPAs.
• Handle Probate and Administration of Estates.
• Advise on Court of Protection matters.
• Draft Wills, LPAs and related documents.
• Prepare and submit Probate Registry applications.
• Work with testamentary trusts and related matters.
• Attend clients in various settings as needed.
• Supervise and support team members.
• Maintain files and meet deadlines.
